Atlas Corporis disclaimer
Last updated:
Atlas Corporis is an educational tool. Models are simplified and may contain errors or differ from real anatomy. It is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for your course materials, teachers or a qualified health professional.
How accurate it is
The atlas hasn’t been medically reviewed, and it’s incomplete. Structures may be missing, simplified by their source, mislabelled or placed approximately. Names and pronunciations may contain mistakes.
The 3D models come from openly licensed research datasets (see Credits). We place and label them carefully, but we don’t reshape the anatomy, so any limits of the source data carry through.
Please don’t use it to
- diagnose, treat or monitor any condition;
- plan or guide a medical procedure;
- make any clinical decision.
For exams and coursework
Use it to explore and practise, then check important facts against your current course materials and textbooks. If something in the app disagrees with them, trust your course.
Found a mistake?
Email support@asterahub.app with the structure’s name and what looks wrong. It helps everyone.
