Website privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy covers the Astera Hub website at asterahub.app. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page and from the Legal page.
Astera Hub is run by Benji Oddballs Studios and STARED. For anything about your data, email privacy@asterahub.app.
The short version
- No cookies, no advertising, no tracking across other sites.
- The website itself has no forms and no accounts. It doesn’t ask for your name or email.
- If you register for an app or email us, we use your address only for that, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical information to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. This is standard for every website.
We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store your IP address and doesn’t follow you to other websites. It tells us things like how many people visited a page and which country they were in.
Registering for an app
Some apps that aren’t out yet have a Register button. It opens a registration form run by Tally (tally.so), which stores what you enter. We use your email address only to send you a thank-you and to tell you when that app is out. The emails are sent through our email service provider, Brevo, and every email lets you ask to stop. That app’s own privacy policy has the details.
When you email us
If you email one of our addresses, we keep your message and address to reply and to help with your question. We delete old support conversations when they’re no longer needed.
Children
The site and our registration forms aren’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child under 13 has registered, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU’s GDPR, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@asterahub.app. We may ask you to confirm the request comes from your email address. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Where data is processed
Our providers may process data outside your country. We choose providers that protect it to the standards these laws require.
Changes
We’ll update this page when how we use data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
